Restaurants & Cafe

Brooksy's Restaurant

A quaint restaurant with home cooking and a friendly atmosphere features a spectacular mural of Lang Street at the peak of the silver rush. Each table has its own unique scene of Cobalt painted on the top.
Silver Street Café

The Silver Street Café, uniquely located in a mine site headframe, is centrally and conveniently situated downtown Cobalt.
The Silver Street Café serves delicious meals, desserts and organic fair trade coffee. Everything is prepared from scratch using all-natural and organic ingredients.

Come and relax in the rustic and cozy ambience of the Café while enjoying a great meal, then take a tour of the Coniagas #4 mine site headframe, which is still accessible today.
Silverland Inn and Motel

A step inside this historic building is like taking a step back in time when it was originally designed to be the Bank of Ottawa, circa 1913, during the Cobalt Mining Camp heydays. Today it retains the same warm Victorian charm with antique fixtures of a bygone era. Recent work has restored the building to its original state and it is the only building of its kind in Northern Ontario. Enjoy the gourmet, stone baked pizza or freshly made subs and wraps. For dessert, indulge in the many flavours of ice cream, or home made fudge.
